Chad first started working with glass in Minneapolis in 1996. After this he worked in Seattle and then on to Louisville. In 2003 he was invited to be a resident artist at Louisville Glassworks to produce art, teach classes and build mobile glass studios. Chad started Chad Balster Glass in 2012, concentrating on making new and innovative production designs and one of a kind works of art in glass.
